Sushant Singh Rajput & Kirti Sanon Romance

Day-1 and Day-2 Collection of the Recent Releases

This weekend all the movies got a lukewarm response as ‘Wonder Woman’ continues to rule the Box Office. Be it ‘Raabta’ or the highly anticipated ‘The Mummy’, all expectations went down the drain. When it comes to the recent release ‘Behen Hogi Teri’ which stars Shruti Hassan and Rajkumar Rao, the lukewarm response that it received is still justified because it is a low-budget movie and not much was expected out of it, neither was it promoted like a commercial cinema. So, it’s ok for such movies to earn what they spent to make it even. But, ‘Raabta’ and ‘The Mummy’ were promoted immensely and with such promotion, what they have earned on their 1st and 2nd day is nothing but sheer disappointment. Day-1 and Day-2 Collection of the Recent Releases

Let’s see which movie collected how much and what good or bad reviews are they garnering.

  • Raabta

Day-1 Collection: Rs. 5.61 Crores

Day-2 Collection: Rs. 6.11 Crores

This Sushant Singh Rajput-Kriti Sanon starrer has been creating a buzz for quite some time now. Due to several rumors surrounding the movie, the trade gurus believed it to be a super hit but seems as if it was a poor guess.

  • The Mummy

Day-1 Collection: Close to Rs. 4 Crores

Day-2 Collection: Rs. 5.75 Crores

Nobody could have ever thought that ‘The Mummy’ that has the handsome hunk Tom Cruise in it will never see the light of the day. All the ticket booking portals showed that 99% people wanted to watch the movie, but after its release, it decreased to a startling 58% which is a huge dip.

  • Behen Hogi Teri

Day-1 Collection: Rs. 35 Lacs

Day-2 Collection: Rs. 45 Lacs

Not much was expected out of this movie. Critics have called this movie a ‘waste of money’ but have called Rajkumar Rao’s performance remarkable.

So, that was all about the recent releases that the weekend also couldn’t save. Now, it will be interesting to see if these movies pace up during the weekdays or not?
